Overview
Imperial were instructed by Workspace Design and Build to undertake the electrical element of this refurbishment of a historic building in Bolton. The building is a three storey office building containing three separate family businesses. The building was refurbished from the ground up including open plan office areas, toilet and welfare facilities, tea points and a bespoke glass directors suite.
Imperial designed and installed suspended LED lighting systems to open plan areas, down lighting to corridor and amenity areas, along with feature lighting throughout. A comprehensive network of communications cabling was installed throughout to provide the client with a flexible, future proof workspace.
A fully addressable Fire Alarm was installed to protect the building and it's occupants along with a fully compliant integrated emergency lighting system.
Key Challenges
Working alongside other trades to co-ordinate complex works within tight timescales. Working with the an aged stone building structure and complex series of core holes to provide a modern cabled solution. Discretely routing cables along refurbished/re-finished decorative timber trusses
